How to get rid of ACNE using ONE ingredient

Acne is one of the major skin care issues people are dealing with, in all parts of the world. Getting rid of acne is not as difficult as it seems. There are a number of tips that work but here, I'm going to mention one.
I don't have a major acne problem but I do get pimples in Winters. Idk whether it's because of the weather,  decrease in water intake or improper diet. But still, this is really annoying.
This tip helps me get rid of the pimples that I have on my face but DOES NOT prevent further breakouts. The only thing that can prevent further breakouts is a proper diet & water intake. Skin care routine also matters a lot. Well, here's something you should try to clear your acne in 2,3 days.

Ingredient:

Garlic. Yes, I watched a video regarding this & then I personally tried applying garlic to my pimples & leaving it overnight. Trust me, the pimples start shrinking from Day 1.

How to use?

Take a clove of garlic, cut it in two halves and rub on your pimples (on a cleansed face) before going to sleep. Make sure the garlic juice is well applied on the pimples. Leave it overnight and wash your face the next day.
Repeat the steps for 2-3 days and you'll see a significant improvement.

Side effects:

There are no side effects of using garlic on your skin as it is a natural way of healing the skin but yes, on applying garlic, your skin gets irritated and there's a slight burning sensation for a few seconds but then, it's gone.
Also, you have to bear the smell.

Girls, do try this & let me know how you found the results xx

REVIEW: PROTEIN FACTOR

Short Review:

🌟 REVIEW TIME 🌟
Last week, I got a chance to try chicken steak with herbs by @proteinfactor .
I'm glad that there's a place that serves healthy yet yummy food for all the fitness freaks.
Here's my review on it:

Packaging:
The food was delivered in a plastic, airtight box and there were partitions for the steak and the veggies inside the box. The plus point was that the packaging mentioned the number of protein, carbs, caloriesn and fat present in the food and that's something that every fitness freak is going to love. I think the packaging was over all pretty good and kept the food hot.

Taste:
I'm not one of the people who are all about eating healthy, counting the calories etc. etc. I know it's a good thing to be conscious about your diet but I prefer tasty food over healthy food. However, this food really impressed me. Besides being healthy, it tasted good too. The steak was cooked properly. It was juicy, with the correct balance of the spices used. The veggies were also seasoned properly & the sauce sent along with them was good too. However, I'd prefer if my steak was a little more spicier. (Everybody has different preferences, no?)

In my opinion, people living in Islamabad should definitely try this out. I'd rate it 4.5/5 for the packaging, taste and yes, the reasonable price.

(Here's a picture of the packaging with the calorie & protein count in case if you need it)

INTERVIEW: BILAL ABBAS KHAN

Most of the girls who are following "Dum Pukht" on Aplus are having a strong crush on this young, handsome guy Bilal Abbas Khan a.k.a Billu. I got a chance to interview him for my blog and he was very kind to take some time out for this. I'm so excited to share all of this with you guys. I hope you like it.
Starting with the basic information, he's a student of BBA in Szabist Karachi. He's 6 ft. tall and his date of birth is 4th June,1992.
Here's the complete interview:
Me: Do you have a nick name?
Bilal: My family calls me Billu.
Me: Tell me about your family?
Bilal: My mother is a fashion designer and, father is a police officer, a DSP. I have one sister and two brothers. My sister is married, elder brother is a chartered accountant and my younger brother is a student. Everybody is very supportive and I have a very peace-loving family. Like the one in Hum Sath Sath hain :p (Ma sha Allah)
Me: And, what's your relationship status?
Bilal: I'm in love with someone. (Okay, he didn't share her name guys :p )
Me: Biggest inspiration?
Bilal: Shahrukh Khan
Me: How did you get into this profession?
Bilal: I had always wanted to become an actor since I was a kid. I remember when I watched the scene from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum when Sharhrukh Khan got off from the helicopter and was running towards his home and was wearing a long coat, I liked it so much and I was like, I want to be like him, I want to do this. Then, one day my friend told me about the auditions for Hum TV's serial "Saaya-e-deewaar bhi nahi" and I went for the auditions and got selected. I've also been doing theaters with NAPA. I've always been a very bad student but I was very good in the co-curricular activities. I used to take my classes in the university in the evening and I worked in the theater during day-time. I easily got selected for "Saaya-e-Deewaar Bhi Nahi", it wan't hard for me at all. That's my luck because I think my acting and my looks were shit at that time. :p
Me: I haven't watched Saaya-e-Deewaar, I' following Dumpukht. What do you have to say about it?
Bilal: Dumpukht is my sweetheart. I had fun shooting dumpukht. The director was a sweetheart and helped me a lot. It's going great and the climax is wow!
Me; Can I know what's going to happen next?
Bilal: Well, I don't want to spoil it for you but whatever it is, it's amazing.
Me: Okay, what do you like to eat?
Bilal: I'm a very foodie person and I loveee Desi Food and Lasagna. I was asking my cook to make lasagna but he was like "aaj nahi banana, pehle utha karo" :p
Me: What does your mother cook the best?
Bilal: Everything. I love everything that she cooks but Daal Chawal, the most.

Me: Who are you the most frank with, in your family?
Bilal: My family is very friendly and they're all very supportive. It would be very difficult for me to choose one because my dad's my best friend, my mom's very close to me and my siblings too but yes, my younger brother. He's my partner in crime.
Me: When do you plan to get married?
Bilal: I have to achieve a lot, and I believe there's a time for everything so, not now.
Me: What do you think is the criteria of an ideal woman for marriage?
Bilal: Whoever clicks
Me: How do you deal with female fans?
Bilal: I love when people show concern no matter a guy or a girl, I feel honored. So, I try to stay connected through social media. Kabhi kabhi thoraaaa mushkil hojata hay jab shoot pe hota hoon.
Me: Do you wake up early or not?
Bilal: I love to sleep and I sleep a lot but depends on routine, I often have to wake up early for work, then I have to hit the gym and when I go home, I don't think of anything and sleep. My life's very boring
Me: How many projects have you done so far?
Bilal: It's been six months since I've joined this field and two are on-air, two more serials are coming soon, one on ARY and one on GEO. Also, My movie, Thora Jee le is also releasing in January.
Me; What made you famous?
Bilal: Dumpukht, obviously. Because the director was very supportive and I worked hard too.
Me: Who's your biggest fan at home?
Bilal: Everyone. But yes, my dad. He's my biggest fan and my best friend and he never misses a single episode of my drama. He also remembers what I did in that episode. He had always wanted to become an actor but he couldn't, because of some personal reasons and now, he supports me the most.
Me: Tell me about your nature, what makes you angry..?
Bilal: Um, main Farishta hoon (laughing), jokes apart, I usually never get angry but when I get angry, I just can't control it. I usually get angry on work-related things when someone tries to make me fool by thinking he's new in the field, he doesn't know anything etc. And, I'm a very shy person, I start blushing when someone praises me. And, I'm very reserved, I don't mix up at all, I 'm not social and I don't like going to parties. It's not that I'm rude it's just in my nature. "I'm just a little weird" (he said laughing)

Me: What was your first earning?
Bilal: (laughing) I can't tell that. It was too less. I earned nothing from Saayae deewar but I'm earning a LOT of money from Dumpukht.
Me: Where do spend your money?
Bilal: I don't have to spend my money on home because everyone at home is earning. I have saved a lot of money and I'm planning to buy a car for myself. In sha Allah.
Me: Do you have any other talent, aprt from acting?
Bilal: I'm a very good cook. I can cook a lot of things, I can cook qeema, lasagna, biryani with a little help, daal chaawal, I can bake cakes and breakfast.
Me: Hobbies?
Bilal: I don't have specific hobbies, but yes, I love to play video games and workout. You know, eat fit, look fit. I have 2,3 friends that I spend time with, daily.
Me: Most memorable experience?
Bilal: When I got selected for the movie. When I got a call, I thought my character in the movie will be a supporting character but when the director told me that my character was a leading character, that moment was memorable.
Me: Share something that your fans don't know about you
Bilal: I am very sensitive, I cry easily. Like, I was reading an article it was about a girl who was raped, and I started crying. And yes, I also cry while watching movies.
Me: Share one good and one bad thing about you.
Bilal: Good, I'm goal-oriented, family-oriented, hard working. And... I can't even think of any bad things right now
Me: Haha, like you said, main farishta hoon. And you've already told 3 good things
Bilal: (laughing) haha, jokes apart, the bad things are, I'm lazy, I sleep a lot and I can't control my anger once I get angry.
Me: Has anyone ever betrayed you?
Bilal: Yes, once. Long time ago.
What hurts you the most?
Bilal: Lies.
Me: Your best feature?
Bilal: Eyes, because people tell me that my eyes are beautiful.
Me: First crush? and did you tell her?
Bilal: My class-teacher  in 3rd standard. I fell in love with her. And I told her, she smiled and kissed my cheek and  went.
Me: Did you ever propose someone and got rejected?
Bilal: Twice. Once in school and once in college. I don't know why girls find me so unattractive. (laughing)
Me: Would you work in India if you got a chance to?
Bilal: Yes, I will.
Me: Who are the actors/actresses that you want to work with?
Bilal: All good actors and actresses. I've always wanted to work with Noman ijaz and I have worked with him.
Me: Okay, I'll name a few people you have to describe them in one word. Javed Sheikh, Imran Khan, Ayaan Ali, Shahid Afridi, Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Sajal Aly, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mamnoon Hussain, Nawaz Sharif, Altaf Hussain.
Bilal: Javed Sheikh: Senior Actor
Imran Khan: Great politician
Ayaan Ali: Model
Shahid Afridi: Boom Boom
Mahira Khan: Beautiful
Fawad Khan: Legend
Sajal Aly: Great actress
Hamza Ali Abbasi: well educated
Mamnoon Hussain: Our lost president
Nawaz Sharif: Corrupt politician
Altaf Hussain: Bhai
Me: Do you think people are jealous of you?
Bilal: I don't care about it even if they are..
Me: If you die and come back as another person, who would you like to be?
Bilal: Shahrukh Khan, no Leornardo, no. I would come back as Shahrukh Khan and if I die for the second time, I'd come back as Leonardo (laughing)
Me: Do you think you have achieved your goals?
Bilal: No, not even 1%. I have to achieve a lot.
Me: Biggest regret?
Bilal: That I haven't graduated yet. I can't complete my graduation because of so many projects right now but I regret that.. My mother wants to see me graduated.
Me: How are you going to propose the girl that you love?
Bilal: Well, that's a secret.. everything about it is a secret. Haha.
Me: What message do you want to give to your fans?
Bilal: That I LOVE all of them.  I love it when they appreciate my work and I feel honored when they show concern.

These were the questions that I asked one of the best future actors (and present too). I hope you liked the interview. Do let me know in the comments :)

Rimmel London Gel Eyeliner Review

I have never been a fan of gel eyeliners, I usually prefer wearing liquid eyeliners because I have much practice with their application. A few days back, I forgot to keep my eyeliner in bag (that's always there because I like wearing eyeliner daily and sometimes I don't have enough time in the morning to get ready) so, I borrowed my friend's eyeliner.
I wasn't much comfortable with the thought of wearing a gel eyeliner because I thought it would smudge or won't be the right black shade that I like but I was wrong.
This eyeliner has a great color, in my opinion, even a single coat is enough (okay, two coats if you're not satisfied with a single coat). It's also affordable and lasts for a quite long time (I guessed that from the quantity) and another thing; the application is TOO SMOOTH! It glides on too easily and I think even a beginner can get a sharp wing with this.
The only thing that I didn't like much was the applicator. I think it should be a little thin and more pointed. But overall, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to buy an affordable gel eyeliner and is new at the eyeliner game.
To sum this all up, here are the main points.

Pros:

  • Smooth and easy application
  • Pigmented
  • Affordable

Cons:

I think the applicator tip should have been a bit more pointed. That's it. :)

Looking for an affordable, black, matte eyeliner? Here it is.

About three months back, when I finally decided that I need to change my eyeliner, I rushed to the market to get one for me. I have been a fond of eyeliner, and like every other girl, I want my wing to be on fleek.
I had never tried a gel eyeliner before, so wanted to stick to liquid eyeliner because I had enough practice with liquid ones and I thought they are more easier (no, it's not like that. I'll tell you how I got to know that when I'll review Rimmel Londen Waterproof Gel Eyeliner). Usually liquid eyeliners are not completely matte. I used to use Oriflame The One Liquid Eyeliner (the purple tube) and it was an amazing black, matte eyeliner but wasn't water proof and I wanted to get myself a waterproof eyeliner.
On trying different eyeliners, there! I found it. Essence waterproof liquid ink eyeliner. It was blackest black (okay 2 or 3 coats make it blackest black), matte YESSS! and waterproof. And yes, quite economical too.
I bought it from D.Watson for Rs. 550/- and that is quite affordable specially when your previous eyeliners cost around 1000 pkr. Buying it was a pretty nice decision because it was good in all ways. The eyeliner tip was also thin and helped in creating a nice wing.
Overall, I would recommend it to everyone who is a fond of eyeliners.

Pros:

  • It is matte
  • Waterproof
  • Blackest black
  • Budget friendly
  • Has a nice tip

Cons:

Not any, I'd rate it 10/10 :)
I hope you liked the review. Do try and let me know how you liked it. :)

Swatch:

Here's a swatch of the eyeliner. (Don't mind how my hands look, it isn't dryness. I tested a foundation here first :p )

REVIEW: FRUITIEN JUICES

Detailed review:

A few days back, I got Fruitien Juices in my mail. I received juices in 6 different flavors. They were mango, apple, grapes, orange, peach and 10 fruits juice.
First of all, the packaging of the parcel was too good. There were two small boxes containing 3 packs of juice each, packed in a big box along with a few certificates that showed how the juices are halal and hygienic too.
I was really impressed with the company's act of sending certificates along. This ensures that not only they are halal, but totally healthy and hygienic too.
Then, talking about the taste, it kind of resembles Nestlé's Fruitavitals that's an international brand and is liked by many people. The best ones I found were chaunsa nectar and grape juice. Unlike many other Pakistani juice brands, the taste was quite balanced and wasn't extra sweet.
Not only taste, these juices can be a perfect, healthy addition to your breakfast and diet as they have a good amount of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.  Fruitien offers a wide range of flavors that are all equally healthy and equally delicious.

Why should you try Fruitien Juices?

  • They are healthy and hygienic.
  • Wide range of flavors.
  • 100% halal.
  • Perfect, balanced taste.
  • Rich in nutrients.
  • Affordable
To know more about them, visit their facebook page or their website.
Take care 😊

Best acne treatment products that you need to try

Acne has always been a problem for people with oily skin. Although I have a normal to combination skin type but I do have seasonal acne breakouts. Reasons include stress, over thinking, less water intake, improper diet or menstrual cycle. I've tried so many products for this problem including pond's, garnier, himalaya but the best ones so far are from Oriflame Pure Skin Range.
I tried their facewash, toner and blackheads clearing mask.
The entire Pure Skin Range has salicylic acid in it that is known to treat acne.
Here's what I have to say about the products:

Pure skin facewash:

The facewash is gel like in consistency. It gives a refreshing feel on the skin and has a fresh fragrance. It makes skin oil free for a long period unlike other facewashes that I have tried that drive the oil away but the skin gets oily after an hour or two.
Another great thing about it is that it doesn't over dry the skin. That's great for people like normal to combination skin.

Pure skin toner:

The toner helps a lot with closing pores and drying the pimples so they can go away easily. It also prevents the skin from getting dirty.
Trust me toning is necessary, you shouldn't skip this step.

Blackheads clearing mask:

Okay, this mask is not meant for blackheads only. This helps with whiteheads too. I have never had blackheads issue but I bought it for a few whiteheads on my nose. I use this twice a week and it works great.

Tip:

It's better to use these three products together, I have been using the facewash and toner in the morning and at night everyday. The mask can be used daily or after one day if you have serious blackheads problem but I used it twice a week.

Pros:

  • Very effective
  • Results start showing in a month
  • Products don't over dry the skin
  • Mattify the skin
  • Skin feels clearer
  • Tightens the pores and prevent further breakouts
  • Good amount of product.

Cons:

Not any. These are my holy grail products.

Overall, these are the best products that I have tried so far. Price may seem high but the quantity is good so they can be used for 2, 3 months. You should definitely give the products a try.
Do try and tell me how you liked them :)

Great products for new born babies and their mommies

Hi guys. Hope you all are doing well. I was a little busy last week so couldn't write a blog about Mustela pk products for new born babies and their mothers. They sent me a few samples to review and I wanted to write a post earlier but couldn't find time to do so. I gave these samples to my cousin for her baby and I'm going to share her experience with the products.

So, here are the products that they sent me:

  • Vitamin Barrier Cream:

This is a nappy rash cream for delicate skin that helps with early signs of diaper rash. This is quite gentle to skin and it isn't necessary to use it on rashes, but can be used daily while changing diaper to prevent the redness and irritation that results in nappy rash.

  • Hydra Be`be` Body Lotion:
This lotion is an amazing lotion, specially formulated for delicate skin. It gets absorbed quickly and keeps the skin hydrated. In my opinion, even grown ups with sensitive skin can use this lotion to keep their skin hydrated.

  • Facial Cream:

The facial cream contains jojoba oil and shea butter in it and leaves the skin super hydrated, soft and silky. It protects the baby's skin and leaves it moisturized. It is free of harmful chemicals and harsh smell.
  • Emollient Cream:
This cream is formulated for eczema prone skin or very dry skin in new born babies. It replenishes the skin's lipids, nourishes the surface and soothes irritation and itching. I have not personally used this nor has my cousin used it on her baby but according to some other reviews, this is an amazing cream to fight eczema in babies.

Overall Experience:

My overall experience with the products say that these are worth a try. Do try them for your babies and yourselves. They are available at Graco Baby Shops :)

Short Review: Tribute to Madam Noor Jehan; "GUL-E-DAUDI"

Review:

A few days back, EMI Pakistan Ltd. released a short 15 minutes film, paying tribute to Madam Noor Jehan. It was directed by Umar Riaz, a young and very talented director. Media management was undertaken by Transmedia Digital.
I am not very fond of watching movies but was asked to watch this one. When I first heard that it's a tribute to Madam Noor Jehan, I thought it would be based on her life or her music career etc. but it wasn't like that.

It was a silent, black and white movie, like the ones people used to watch in old times. This is the real beauty of the movie. The director has done a great job! The storyline of the movie is simple yet unique. Old school filming technique adds extra points to it.
It is the story of a young boy and a girl in love, from their childhood to adulthood that shows different aspects of life focusing mainly on love and relationship. How a girl and boy fall in love in their childhood, how the love at that age is innocent. Then, how they grow up together, their intimacy, their bonding, their strong relationship in the form of marriage, everything is shown so beautifully. It shows how love can be so sweet and so harsh at times. Yes, that's the reality.
The movie shows how life is not only happiness and not only sadness but is a combination of both. There are good times and bad times, but how people who are together and who have to be together face all the difficulties together. They have to go through thick and thin together to prove their love and this makes the bond stronger.
The movie is a silent movie and each situation is described by Noor Jehan's songs. The legend's songs fit perfectly into every situation. From innocent childhood love to adulthood love involving intimacy, from sweet to sour. Every situation is described perfectly by her songs, from beginnings to middles to endings.

Cast:

The central couple was played by Ismat Jawwad and Usman Latif who are married to each other in real life.
Here is the cast of the movie.

About the director:

Umar Riaz is a young, talented, student Oscar nominated director, born and raised in Lahore and currently lives in New York City. His amazing award winning short films have been screened at various film festivals internationally.

Easy Tawwa Chicken Tikka Recipe.

A few days back, we had some guests at our home for dinner. We had an hour or two for preparing the food because they had not informed us earlier. I was helping my mom in the kitchen and made tawwa chicken tikka for the guests. This is a quite easy and tasty recipe. I uploaded the picture on my snapchat and instagram, and on the request of my followers, I'm uploading the recipe on the blog.

Here's a picture of the chicken, the picture quality is not so good because I had no intention of putting it up on the blog lol.
So, here's the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Two chicken breasts, cut in pieces and flatten
  • Ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp
  • Salt, Red chilly powder, Chicken tikka masala, Chicken Tandoori masala to taste
  • Curd  4 tbsp
  • Lemon 4 (use the juice)
  • Vinegar 4 tbsp
  • Oil 4,5 tbsp

Recipe:

Marinate the chicken with all of these ingredients for two hours, you can change the quantity according to taste. After that, put a little oil on the pan (tawwa) , let it heat a bit and put two-three pieces of chicken, cook one side, then cook the other. Keep the flame low in the beginning, then increase the flame a little. When cooked, take these pieces out in a plate. Do the same with all the pieces.
Then put all the chicken pieces on the pan again, with very low flame.
Heat a piece of coal (this gives amazing bbq taste and smell)
When fully heated, add it in a foil paper shaped in the form of a cup.
Place this foil paper and coal on the pan immediately, and cover the pan with a lid.
Turn the flame off. The chicken and the coal stay covered on the pan for 5 minutes to give it steam of the coal.
Then, take the lid off and dish the chicken out.
Ready to eat. :)
Serve with chutney.

Beauty World's Mousse Creamy Glitters Review

As we all know that girls LOVE glitters. Not just teenage girls or adults, using them in their makeup, I remember, during my childhood, I used to collect glitters in different colors. I had a huge collection of glitters and I used them in all my arts projects and every decoration.
Now, being 21, I still have love for glitters. Being a makeup junkie, I'm obsessed with glittery eye makeup. It looks too good.
Today, I'm going to review Mousse Creamy Glitters that I bought from a facebook page "Beauty World".
Here's a picture of my palette:

Just as they look, these glitters are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. What I like the most is that this page has got a wide variety of colors, in mousse and pressed glitters in such cheap rates.
I bought this palette because it has almost all the colors that I wanted.
Coming to the texture, they have sort of a creamy mousse texture and are not messy at all. Application is much easy and are water proof. These vibrant colors look too good on eyes and spread so easily, I'm in love!
Another thing, they stays on for long & are waterproof so you can use them on the top of your lipstick too, to get those glamorous glittery lips 💋✨
Let's summarize everything.

Price:

Rs.900 for 12 shades. So cheap.

Pros:

  • Not messy at all
  • Smooth application
  • Waterproof
  • Cheap price

Cons:

Can't think of any

(Couldn't share the swatches but you can find them on Beauty World's facebook page)
Take care lovelies. xx

8 things you need to know before you get ready for Eid.

Hi guys. Chand Raat Mubarak. I hope you've got all things ready to get yourself dolled up this Eid. 😊
Here are a few things I want to tell you that you need to remember while doing your makeover.
Okay, let's start.

1. Don't forget to prepare your skin:

Cleansing, toning and moisturizing are very important steps. You should add these steps in your daily skin care routine. Cleansing helps you remove dirt from your skin, toning helps to close the pores and prevents from breakouts and moisturizing is necessary to hydrate your skin. These steps also prepare your skin for makeup, helping in smooth application.

2. Right amount and shade of foundation.

Always remember not to apply too much foundation. It takes away the natural look and makes you look cakey and fake. Another thing to remember while choosing the right foundation is 'choose the foundation that matches your skin tone'. I have seen many people applying foundation lighter than their skin tone to look 'fair' and trust me this is not right at all. It makes your complexion greyish and fake. Not a good decision. Foundations are meant to enhance your tone NOT to lighten it. God has made you beautiful. You can look gorgeous in your wheatish complexion too :) ps go for a waterproof foundation, it's too hot out there.

3. Contouring, highlighting and applying blush according to the shape of your face is must.

We all have different shapes of our faces. Some have round faces, some have heart shaped face, some have oval, some have square and much more. Application of contour, highlighter and blush is also different for different shapes. You can see the picture above, it explains the right way of application of these according to different face shapes.

4. Liquid lipsticks stay longer, don't smudge or bleed.

Liquid matte lipsticks have a better staying power, they don't end up bleeding, smudging or simply disappearing. They're trending too. Yes, they do make your lips feel dry but you can exfoliate and then moisturize and prime your lips before application to minimize the dryness.

5. Don't apply too many layers of mascara and make your eyelashes clumpy.

Too much mascara that makes your eyelashes clumpy is NOT a good idea. Try not to apply more than two layers. You can apply three if your lashes don't start clumping (depends on the mascara that you're wearing). If you want your lashes to have more volume for Eid, use false eyelashes for your look.

6. Don't forget to invest in a good, waterproof, smudge proof eyeliner.

Do you want to look like this after an hour or two of applying makeup for Eid? Of course NOT. Girls, it's too hot out there. You don't want your eyeliner to smudge and destroy your complete look. So do wear a nice waterproof eyeliner :)

7. Don't forget your brows.

Brows give your face a more defined, gorgeous look. Patchy, light eyebrows don't look nice at all. I have seen many people completely ignoring their eyebrows. You're blessed if you've got naturally thick, dark eyebrows but don't forget to fill in your brows if you need to.

8. Set your makeup with a setting powder.

After you've done your makeup, don't forget to set it with a setting powder. Many people skip this step but remember, it's Eid and you wanr your makeup to last longer. :)

I hope you liked the tips, stay tuned for more posts in the future. May your makeup be on point this Eid. Look gorgeous, Eid Mubarak, love. xx

The Body Shop Body Butter in Strawberry Review

Hi guys. I hope everyone's fine.
Today I'd like to review Body Butter in strawberry by The Body Shop.

So, here's a picture of the product. It has a very light baby pink colour just like strawberry icecream. Yum 😋
It doesn't smell like fresh strawberries but like strawberry candies or ice cream and I totally LOVE the smell.
Okay, now coming to the consistency, it's kind of thick, butter like (I know body butters are supposed to be like butter) and doesn't absorb quickly. You have to wait till it gets absorbed. I have a normal to combination skin and I feel it a little heavy after applying but within a minute, it gets absorbed. People with dry skin will surely love it more.
It gives my skin a nice feeling, making it smooth and smell like strawberry ice cream but doesn't make it much soft.
Secondly, makes me sweat too much when it's hot. I guess it suits people with dry skin better.

Pros:

  • Amazing fruity smell that lasts long.
  • Makes skin smooth, doesn't feel heavy except after the first few seconds of application.

Cons:

  • Not good for people with combination or oily skin.
  • Takes time to get absorbed.
  • Doesn't make the skin soft.
I'd suggest you to use it if you're a fan of fruity smells and if you have a dry skin. People with normal skin type can also use it.
Love. xx

Common ingredients in your kitchen that help you grow NEW HAIR

I have already posted about hair fall before, I posted some tips that could help you prevent hair loss. I'm writing about hair loss once again, but this time, the topic is slightly different.
Let's talk about new hair growth. Is it possible? Yes. With some ingredients that are present in your kitchen.
So, let's see what they are.

What helps you grow new hair?

  • ginger
  • garlic
  • onion

How?

Let's have a look how these things work.

Ginger:

Ginger helps stimulating blood flow to the scalp, that triggers the hair follicles and help in growing new hair. It has fatty acids too, that prevent the thinning of hair. Ginger has antiseptic properties too, that help in removing dandruff from hair (dandruff is also a cause of hair loss and thinning of hair)  Not only this, but ginger also provides shine to the hair. Take a ginger, cut it and rub it on your scalp where ever you want to grow new hair. Let it stay for 15-20 minutes and wash.
You can also cut a ginger, squeeze it's juice, apply the juice on your scalp for 20 mins, then wash away. You can mix the juice with some oil in equal quantity too. (Ginger will irritate your scalp but that's normal. It's a spice, no?)

Garlic:

Garlic is another ingredient that promotes hair growth and prevents the thinning of hair. It has sulfur and selenium that not only grows new hair but improves the structure of existing hair as well. People with bald patches don't need to worry, this might work for them as it reduces the size of bald patches.
You can use it the same way as you use ginger. Crush it, squeeze it's juice, apply n on your scalp, leave for 20-30 minutes and wash away. You can mix it with your favorite oil and massage too :)

Onion:

Onion is rich in sulfur just like garlic. It improves blood circulation in the scalp and provides nourishment to the hair . It also prevents premature graying of hair. Another benefit of applying onion is that it has anti bacterial properties that help in eliminating scalp infections that might contribute with hair loss too.
Use it the same way as you use ginger and garlic.

How to eliminate the smell of these ingredients from your hair?

You can't totally eliminate the smell after washing your hair with a mild shampoo though, but here's a tip. Take a lime, squeeze the juice into some water and wash your hair with that water. Helps in reducing the smell of ginger, garlic or onion.

Best way to use these ingredients?

Squeeze out their juices, mix them together, add in some oil and massage.
Leave it on hair for 30 minutes and wash away.
Do this regularly and you'll see results in 2 months. :)

Oriflame Optimals Seeing is Believing Eye cream Review

Hi guys. Today I'm gonna write about Oriflame Seeing is Believing Eye cream. After using a lot of Oriflame products, including skin care and makeup, I have come to a conclusion that Oriflame makes amazing skin care products. The makeup is also good but skin care is really effective. I'm going to review some other skincare products by Oriflame too, that have worked wonders for me.

I have not personally used this product, I bought it for my mother and my review is based on her experience. Oriflame claims that this product helps brighten your eye area, reduces dark circles, puffiness and fine lines.
This eye cream comes in a 15 ml jar, costs around rs. 1200. YES. 1200 for a 15 ml jar, but my experience with Oriflame tells that their products are way too expensive. Still, it's fine because they often but these products on sale and you can grab whatever you want in reasonable prices.
So, here's my experience with this cream.

Own experience:

Okay, so as I have mentioned earlier, it's my mother's experience. So, she used this cream twice a day, once in the morning and once at night for like 2 months and we noticed that her dark circles and puffiness became less visible. Though we didn't notice and change in the fine lines around her eyes as claimed by the company. Another good thing is that this little jar lasts for around 3 months because you have to apply a very little quantity on both eyes, just a dot is enough.

Texture:

Light, creamy texture that absorbs into your skin without being too greasy or sticky.

Pros:

  • Reduces dark circles and puffiness
  • The little jar lasts for 3 months (it did in my case)
  • Texture is light and doesn't end up greasy or sticky.
  • Natural ingredients, means no harmful chemicals included.

Cons:

  • Too pricey for 15 ml jar (I was lucky I got it when it was on sale)
  • Takes around one and a half or two months tto show visible results.
  • Not available in the market, you have to buy from oriflame consultants. (I'm an oriflame consultant too so that wasn't a big deal for me)

Would I recommend to others?

Definitely, I have personally seen the results so I would recommend it to others, specially the ones having mild eye puffiness or dark circles. It takes time, but it definitely works. Take care of your eyes they make you look prettier <3 :)
I hope you liked the review. Take care xx

Sivanna Colors Ultra Blush Palette 03 review

Hi guys, today I'm going to review Sivanna cosmetics ultra blush palette in 03.
I had personally not heard much about the brand until I found it on a Facebook page Beauty World that had some deals for particular makeup items.
When I saw the items, I found this palette quite attractive due to the pink and coral shades.
Secondly it has 6 shades of blush,1 bronzer and 1 highlighter so I really wanted to have it.
So, the palette has beautiful coral and pink shades and I personally love these shades as they look natural and make you look fresh. And yes, they are also perfect for wheatish/dusky skin tones.
The blushes are quite pigmented. They are quite soft and smooth, but the texture is a bit too powdery.

pros:

  • smooth in texture
  • look natural
  • six blushes along with a bronzer and a highlighter

cons:

  • palette doesn't have a mirror that's really a minus
  • texture is smooth but a bit too powdery.

price:

Not so sure about the price because I got it on sale on a facebook page where I could choose any three items for rs 1200.

availability:

They are not available in the market, you can find them online. I bought them from facebook page Beauty World.

I hope you liked the review. Leave you comments below and subscribe :)

How to get rid of hair fall

Hair fall is a very common problem these days and people suffering from this problem are afraid of losing their hair too early. It's common in both, men and women. This might be due to improper eating habits, unhealthy lifestyle, stress or excessive hair styling; specially using heat to style your hair and using chemicals such as hair dyes on your hair.

How to get rid of hair fall?

1. Shampoo you hair ONLY when it is needed, twice a week. Too much shampoo causes hair fall due to the presence of chemicals in the shampoos. (You can shampoo more often if your hair gets oily)

2. Cover your hair. Yes, don't let dust get stuck into it.
3. Comb it several times a day to improve blood circulation in that region.
4. Try not to use hair straighteners, blow dryers or curling iron to style your hair.
5. Oiling, Yes this is a must. Use olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, almond oil for your hair. Hey you can even mix them all up and massage your hair with the mixture. Oil works better when warm. REMEMBER, I'm asking to apply WARM oil, DO NOT APPLY TOO HOT OIL ON YOUR HAIR.
6. A healthy diet is a must for healthy hair. Eat food that contains proteins, iron and oh, vitamin E.
7. Stress is a major cause of hair fall. Try not to worry too much about things. Try to stay as happy as possible because that's not only good for your soul, but for your skin and your hair.
8. Get rid of dandruff. Use anti dandruff treatments or shampoo and get rid of dandruff because it causes hair fall.
9. DON'T COMB HAIR WHEN IT IS WET. Hair is much weaker when it's wet and comes out easily. Wait for it to dry and then comb it.
10. Green Tea is good for your hair. Drink it or apply it on your hair and wash if after 30 minutes. It promotes hair growth too.
11. Exercise. Yes, it improves blood circulation, reduces stress and gives healthy hair, skin and body.
12. Drink water regularly. Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water daily for a healthy skin and healthy hair.

Follow these steps to get rid of hair fall and get beautiful, healthy hair. :)
take care lovelies xx
