Review: Reforma.pk Haul

Hi guys. Hope everyone's doing good.
Winters make me lazy. Very lazy. I've got a number of products lined up to review on my blog and I keep on delaying it.
But oh, I'm active on instagram and I keep posting short reviews for my followers over there ☝
So, let's talk about my Reforma.pk Haul right now.

1. Makeup Revolution Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette in Shade Light to Medium:

I was sent these amazing things by reforma.pk during my exams so the review was pending. We all know makeup revolution makes amazing products at affordable prices and trust me I loveee this brand.

Okay, this palette contains 8 shades of concealer that are perfect for light to medium skin tones.
The concealers have a medium coverage and have a really smooth application.
They blend in so easily I just love the formula.
2 of my friends have used it and they're willing to order it for themselves now. 😄
However, IN MY OPINION you should get this palette (or any concealer palette) only if you are a professional mua or have a lot of people around to use it.
This is because you don't need all the shades for yourself. Right?

2. LA Girl HD Highlighter

I have this thing for highlighters that I LOVEE collecting them. You know, every girl needs the perfect glow to slay her makeup look.
This highlighter has the perfect shade to be used at night. It's really pigmented so you need a little amount only. I apply it on my cheekbones and T-zone and then, lightly apply a powder highlighter in the same shade at the top to lock the glow. This works great if you are going for a heavy coverage.

3. LA girl Velvet Contour Stick Highlighter in Cashmere:

I've been wanting to try one of these contour sticks by LA Girl Cosmetics for long. It's smooth and glides on skin too easily and blends nicely as well. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't last all day. You can use it while doing a light makeup look for sure.

4. Makeup Revolution Lipstick in Beloved:

This lipstick is of a cute, natural pink color. It isn't as dark as it looks when you first see it, you know, it's not that pigmented. Still, it's quite moisturizing and you can literally wear it on your lips every day.
It's the perfect pink for school, college going girls to be used daily and suits fair skin tone the best. However, the staying power is not that good as it lasts for 3-4 hours only.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Online Shopping in Pakistan

Online shopping has become quite popular for the last few years in Pakistan. People prefer sitting at home and buying stuff online rather than going outside in hot or cold weather, getting stuck in the traffic on the roads and going from one place to another to find their desired products. Although Online shopping in Pakistan has facilitated people in numerous ways, it also has some disadvantages.
Let me tell you some of it's advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages of Online Shopping:

Talking about the advantages of e-commerce , here are the few main points that you need to know:

1. Saves your time

You don't need to take special time out to go to the market to buy the desired products. It saves at least 2-3 hours that you spend while shopping in the market.

2. Huge Variety

This is also a great advantage of online shopping. There's a huge variety of stuff on different websites or pages that helps you choose from a lot of options. 

3. Doesn't require much effort

So, this helps you a lot buy saving your energy too. You don't have to go here and there looking for the products that you want and spending time and energy for hours. You don't feel exhausted after shopping your favorite products.

Disadvantages of Online Shopping:

Now, let me mention a few disadvantages of e-commerce as well. Here they are:

1. Quality is not guaranteed

The first fear that comes in your mind while thinking about online shopping is about the quality of the product. You are not sure whether you'll get the same product in hand, that you're seeing on the internet or not. 

2. Takes time

It's hard to wait for weeks for your stuff to arrive, no? This is what I hate about online shopping. You have to wait for days or weeks or even months. I don't like it at all.

3. Extra delivery charges

This is such a pain especially if you want to buy something little because you don't want to pay the shipment charges more than the original price of the product.

Fall in love with yourself - Bloggers Meetup

Hi lovelies! Hope y'all are doing well. I've been real busy this month (as if I post regularly the rest of the year, lol. Not my mistake tho) due to exams and stuff so couldn't post much. I've been active on my instagram (because that's a quicker way to interact with you guys and you don't have to take time out to write long posts). Okay, so February is all about Valentine's Day and it's celebrations. We don't usually celebrate it but this time it was something different. No, I didn't get chocolates or roses from someone lol. But, the gorgeous sisters, Hemayal and Hira from the blog @herandhem invited me to a bloggers meetup arranged by Keune & Faiza's Salon, Bahria, Phase 4, Rawalpindi.

The event was named "Fall in love with yourself" and it was to pamper us for Valentine's day. I'm here to share my experience with you all.
Okay, we were invited for meet and greet sessions along with some amazing services by Faiza's salon and Keune Pakistan. The services included some hair treatments by Keune Pakistan and manicure and pedicure by Faiza's salon.

I was given the Keune Bond Fusion Treatment and oh, it made my hair so soft and smooth I fell in love with them. First of all, the environment was so comfortable and the staff was so friendly that I didn't feel like I'm meeting them for the first time. They properly gave me the hair treatment along with a cup of coffee and then styled my hair that TOTALLY changed my look. I've been going through a lot of hair fall and hair has lost it's strength and shine but I loved how my hair felt on getting that treatment and then, of course, the hairstyle.
Then, they gave me a pedicure that was as amazing as their other services. Tho, I told the lady who was doing the pedicure not to do so much effort and just do the superficial things but she wanted to show her best and that, she did. As I have already mentioned, the staff was so friendly and they actually wanted me to feel good about myself with their treatments. It was so relaxing, to be honest.
Another thing that needs to be mentioned is that Faiza gave an amazing makeover to a model using stageline's products only. She has magic in her hands!

Apart from this, the refreshment and the decor was amazing. There were a lot of yummy treats that were set beautifully on the table. And oh, Hira and Hemayal were great hosts!

Last, but not the least! we were given goodie bags that included a mug by Faiza's Salon, some chocolates, some makeup by stageline and hair products by Keune.

It was one of the most amazing meetups that I've ever attended and I'm looking forward to more in the future. Can't thank Faiza's salon and Keune enough for their amazing services and the goodie bags and HerandHem for inviting!

Review: Fish leather khussa by shoebrand.pk

Hello lovelies! Hope everyone's doing good. 💖 I've been inactive lately & I'll tell you the reason why.

A few weeks back, I got a pair of fish leather khussas from shoe brand pk. I had to review it on my blog for y'all but unfortunately couldn't do that due to my exams. (Yess. Exams. The reason why I was inactive.)
I've just got done with exams and everything (except a viva and osce lol) so I'm here to write about it.
So, this pair of khussas is something that you must get for yourself. Trust me, I'm no saying this because they sent it to me but it's really very nice.
See, first of all, it can go with a number of dresses lol.
Then, it's very comfortable. Khussas are not what I usually like wearing but this one's so chic.
It's made of fish leather (I had not heard of if before but well.. ) and has a nice design.
Then, talking about the price, it's very reasonable considering that it's hand-made.

Yes, rs. 799 is nothing for a pair of handmade, comfortable, fish leather khussa, no?
And oh, how can I forget their packaging. The box that they come in is HUGE lol. I don't know whether it's good or bad but I had to mention it. And it's hard & of really good quality.
You know, first impression is the last usually & I really got impressed with their packaging.
(That doesn't mean I didn't like the product lol)
For me, this brand gets 10/10
Looking forward to their new designs cuz I really want to save my money while shopping 🙈

Review: Garnier Pure Active Facewash

Hi girls. I hope you all are good. If you are following me on instagram (@whataqsathinks) , you must know that I posted about a new facewash that I had to try, for a change.
I used oriflame pure skin facewash because it prevents me from breakouts and helps with the occasional pimples that sometimes occur on my face.
So, I tried Garnier Pure Active facewash and for me, it was a total mess.
I had really high hopes with it because garnier manufactures amazing products but idk why, it didn't help me AT ALL.
Neither did it remove my pimples that were one or two in number, nor did it help me with further breakouts. I have used this for about a month and I'm totally disappointed. Yes, it does give a refreshing feeling at first and does not over dry your skin like most of the anti acne face washes do, but doesnt help you get rid of acne at all.
I ordered pure skin facewash again and till it arrived, I tried an amazing remedy for pimples.
I have mentioned it in a separate post, under the heading "How to get rid of acne using one ingredient". You can scroll down my blog for that remedy, it's so amazing. You'll not regret.
Talking about this facewash, here are the main points:

Did it work? 

No. Not at all. 

Will I repurchase it? 

Noo. 

It might have helped some of you because everyone has a different skin type, but for me, it was a no. 

Review: Noor's Kitchen

Last week, I got a chance to try some food items from Noor's kitchen. It is a facebook page that  sells food online and also has an outlet in Islamabad.
I tried their following frozen items :
Chicken cheese rolls
Chinese vegetable samosa
Chicken Tikka samosa
Chicken jalapeno samosa
I loved their items so much that couldn't wait to share my reviews.
Okay, the first thing that I tried was their chicken cheese rolls.
Tho I don't like cheese much (I guess I'm the only person who doesn't) but still, I decided to try them first.
So, the rolls had a perfect ratio of chicken and cheese and had the perfect spices in them. They were not too heavy as most of the items containing cheese are. My family loved them. I liked them too because I like spicy food.
Then, talking about samosa, the Chinese vegetable samosa was not too spicy and had a filling of noodles, sweet corn and vegetables. Perfect for the one's who like Chinese.
Then, the chicken jalapeno samosa was quite spicy (as the name jalapeno shows). This also had a hint of cheese in it.
Last, but not the least, the chicken tikka samosa was soo amazing. My favourite. At first, I thought there would be some chicken in it with some tikka masala added to give the tikka flavor but when I took the first bite, there was yummy chicken tikka added in the samosa. The taste was so delicious I loveddd it.
